International Wind Engineering offers a complete wind farm layout optimization considering the detailed wind resource assessment, the wind turbine power performance, the calculation of array energy losses and any existing constraints (e.g. visual or land-use). A site assessment - wind turbine classification is also provided based on the procedures described in the relevant IEC standard (IEC-61400-1-Ed.3). The site assessment is based both on available wind data and on the wind flow modeling results. 

The wind resource assessment relies on a combination of experimental and numerical resources applying commercial wind-flow models and wind data analysis tools and in-house developed statistical methodologies of the Measure-Correlate-Predict principle.

The final wind farm layout report provides wind turbine location, wind statistics for each wind turbine location, wind flow maps, energy calculations per wind turbine and in total as well as array losses.
