to ISO-DIS17025. We will shortly apply for accreditation of the
measurement services offered by the company. This is expected to
significantly broaden the measurement department of International Wind
Engineering. |

has been awarded the Accreditation of its Testing Laboratory by DAP
(German Accreditation Body) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2000.
The certificate DAP-PL-3736.00 is valid for the scope of Cup
Anemometer Calibrations, Power Curve Measurements and Wind Potential
Measurements and Analysis. |

Oral presentation with the subject "Technical Monitoring of Wind
Turbines for Improved Operational benefits" in the context of the 3rd
national conference on Renewables held in Athens (RENES 2005,
23-25.2.2005). The accompanying technical article will be included in
the conference proceedings to be issued (in greek). |

The national Secretariat for Research and Development has approved the
funding of the company's 2-year project entitled "Development of a
Diagnostic Monitoring tool of Wind Turbine Operational Condition"
within the PAVET-NE-04 framework of the Operational Program
"Competitiveness" co-funded by the EU. The project aims to the
development of a mobile data acquisition and analysis system which is
installed for a short period on a wind turbine nacelle and identifies
the operational condition of the main load-carrying components through
fast-sampled acceleration and vibration data and specialized Fourier
analysis of the signals. |

May -07:
The research project for developing a Diagnostic Monitoring System for
Wind Turbine Vibration Analysis has been successfully completed. The
system is now available for commercial applications. It comprises
ultra sensitive accelerometers and an endoscope for probing the
gearbox. |

The company has moved to its new private-owned offices in Gerakas
district of Athens. New telephone lines are available. |

May 09:
A 100 kW, grid-connected PV-plant owned and operated by Morfiadakis
Energeiaka Systimata has entered commercial operation is Arkadia,
Peloponnese. The company has also commissioned a
20kW PV-plant which
it installed on behalf of AB-Vassilopoulos company in its Mega Super
Market (Kifissia, National Road Athens-Lamia). |

The company has been accredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System (ESYD)
for Wind Measurements and Cup Anemometer Calibration according to ELOT
EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (certificate no 547). The previous accreditation
by DAP expired as of 27.4.09. |
