wind energy advantages and advantages of a wind park

Nowadays, it is of a vital importance to protect our planet by boosting a sustainable renewable energy economy. It is well-known, that wind energy both offers great possibilities for a green and sustainable future, but also business-wise; constitutes a great investment to make.

But let’s take a closer look to all these advantages:

1. Wind energy is cost-effective
Nowadays, it is one of the lowest-priced energy sources. The economic value is great and the maintenance costs very low compared to earnings. The installation cost is very high, but once everything is installed and starts functioning, the fixed and operational costs are low. Only routine maintenance is required for a wind park’s turbines and its wind towers, which need to stay there for all sorts of wind/meteorological measurements. Also, prices have decreased enormously in the last decades and are expected to decrease even more.

2. It is considered as one of the safest investments to make
The electricity produced from one’s wind farms is being sold at a fixed price, for a long period of time, such as 20 years and more. By choosing to invest your money in a wind project, you are making sure to mitigate the selling price uncertainty.

3. Wind energy is a green, clean and non-polluting fuel source
It does not emit any toxic emissions to the atmosphere like fossil fuels, air pollutants or greenhouse gases and does not pollute water resources, counter to coal or natural gas. All the above cause acid rain, smog but most importantly health problems and economic damages.

4. As a renewable energy resource it is sustainable, unlimited and free
What you might not be familiar with, is that wind is a form of solar energy. As long as our sun will shine, wind will blow and wind farms will produce energy. So to cut a long story short… there is no way we can run out of it.

5. Wind energy can be space efficient
Wind turbines can tower very high above the ground, however, they do not take up much space on the land.

6. Wind energy has helped significantly in job creation all over the world
Thanks to all projects, new short and long-term jobs are opening all the time and they are bringing more jobs compared to coal plants.
