Our company is accredited according to EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017, for the calibration of wind direction indicators including wind vanes or sonic instruments in the wind tunnel of the National Technical University of Athens. The cross section of the wind tunnel used is 1,4 m * 1,2 m and the instrument under test is rotating at a fixed speed of 0.50 ° / s by a controlled stepper motor.
The determination of the reference angle is achieved using a pulse generator directly connected to the rotation axis. The uncertainty in the measurement of the reference angle is 0.6°. We are able to calibrate all different types of instruments (output: analog / digital & visual indication: with / without).
