During the construction phase, our main goal is to monitor properly the construction of your wind farm. The main activities undertaken by our experts are:
- Monitoring of the overall progress of works
- Identification of technical, cost and time mismatches with provisions of the contracts and technical specification of the project
- Certification of milestones and payments under the construction contracts
- Approval of disbursement requests
- Certification of the project being developed and executed in compliance with project documents, licenses and land easements (and within the boundaries of designated land/plots)
- Provision of advice required by the clients in order for them to make the disbursement in the accordance with the loan agreement
- Review of variation orders
- Conduction of site visits. During each site visit of the project, the progress of the wind farm will be checked with respect to the following reviews or validations:
- Site preparation, construction and installation activities
- Permits, licenses and authorizations for construction and operation
- Execution of the work in line with the approved documentation, plans, specifications, cost breakdown and time schedules
- Quality of design and work, team organization, progress and cost control systems in place
- Achievement of payment milestones in accordance with payment requests of contractors
- Attention to the Health & Safety regulations
- Attention to the environmental and social restrictions
- Estimation of delays for completion due to delayed construction progress
- Reasonableness of “Variation Orders”, if any, instructed under the contract: appropriateness, rationale, financial value, likely impact on project implementation, i.e. schedule and budget
